KCB Equine Center started coming together back in 1998 with the realization that we wanted a place focused on the horse and horse lover to learn and play together. A place where old and young alike can come to learn how horses think and act, and learn to not only ride a horse, but play with it on the ground also.

Using the holistic approach to helping horses through behavioral problems is the only way to really address any issue. We strongly believe that helping a horse learn how to move and proper muscle development is one key factor for a good riding horse. Proper fitting equipment that does not interfere with the horse's movement is another factor that KCB can help students with. Training that helps understanding between horse and human, with keeping respect for the horse's thoughts and feelings, is the goal we have to help all horses and humans who pass through our door.

Always trying to improve and add to what we have to offer, a brand new riding arena was constructed in the winter of 2003 to help deal with our “Minnesota Climate”. What a great addition it has been! Large and bright, we don’t even need to put the light on until nighttime. The temperature seems to be warmer in the winter and cooler in the warmer months.
